Kids at St. Andrew

Mission: Our children’s ministry seeks to provide an open and nurturing environment, while partnering with parents and other caring adults, in guiding youth and children to be disciples of Christ

Contemporary Services @ 9:00 and 10:30 am

Nursery is available during worship.  Parents should check their little ones in prior to worship.  Children are welcome to worship with their parents during the service.  Elementary children have their own special space in Suite 104 for learning and fun while parents are engaged with the praise band and message.

First Friday Fun Nights

The Children’s Ministry at our Bluffton Campus has many events and opportunities for growing and fun. One is a First Friday Fun Night where kids come have a meal, fun, crafts and mission projects from 6 – 8pm while parents get to take a break!  Check the calendar for dates and times during the school year.

Children’s Ministry has relaunched at the Bluffton Campus at 10:30am and at the Hilton Head Campus for Pre-K thru 5th grade at the 11:15 am hour while adults ReGather in the sanctuary for in-person worship. Come have a wonderful time together at the Hilton Head campus to Celebrate the Wonder of God and his son, Jesus. Tweens may join us to assist.

Children are an important part of our gatherings at St. Andrew.  All children are welcome to worship with us at St. Andrew By-The-Sea whether they live in our community or are visitors.  Here at SABTS, not only do our children get a sense of belonging, but they learn who and whose they are as God’s love is experienced through caring adults who want to share their faith with others. We encourage parents to set priorities for assuring the faith education of their children just as they would for math or reading.

The Children’s Moment is a special part of our worship experience every Sunday. Children are invited to come to the chancel area during both worship services (September – May).  Worship packets are provided in the Narthex/Lobby for all children to use during the service to help them better understand worship by engaging them in fun puzzles, coloring, and other activities.

Celebrate Wonder at 10:15 am (Sunday School)

Celebrate Wonder is a Sunday school curriculum that engages children’s natural sense of curiosity to help them understand God’s love. A safe environment is created where kids (age 4 to Grade 5) can ask big questions—helping them explore the Bible in ways that feed their imagination and encourage creativity. Using carefully selected Bible stories, songs, videos, and hands-on activities, Celebrate Wonder gives children the tools to explore their faith while incorporating it into their daily lives.

Children’s Church (during 11:15 am worship service)

Children ages 4 through grade 5 will be dismissed following the Children’s Moment during the 11:15 Worship Service, they will be escorted to the Education Building to engage in activities that will help them learn how to live out their growing faith through Bible stories, crafts and games.

For the protection of our children, youth, and adults that work with them, St. Andrew follows Safe Sanctuaries guidelines. Click here for more information.
